NiteRider Dive Lights

NiteRider announces the release of a new professional grade, on camera lighting system using a new Metal Halide Arc Lamp technology. Also known as Zenon Arc Lamps, HID (High Intensity Discharge) Lamps or HMI Lamps, this type of lamp produces a daylight color temperature with the intensity of 40 watts of conventional incandescent lamps using only 10 watts of actual power. This is important when using rechargeable batteries for field work.

The 4.0 amp hour, 13.2 volt, NiMH batteries will run the Pro 10 single lamp for 4 + hours on a single charge and 1.9 hours on the Pro 200 dual lamp. That is a 4 times longer burn time than on an equivalent output Halogen Lamp. The battery pack comes with a zippered Cordura® bag with belt clip for easy “clip on and go” set up. The light is diffused, with no hot spots and the 5800° Kelvin color temperature produces daylight color that renders natural skin tones without filtrations.

Halogen Video Lights

The new T-220 and T-20 Halogen Video Light Kits, with either a single or twin beam video light, use 20 watt medium flood lamps to produce an improved tungsten color of 3100 K. On the T-220, the unique 4-position rotary switch on the light head allows having one beam on, the other on, or both beams on to produce 40 watts of light. The kit includes a 13.2 volt 4.0 Amp hour NiMH Battery in a Cordura pouch with belt clip. A 2.5 Hour International Charger allows fast charging of the battery anywhere in the world. Burn times are 2 hours at 20 watts or 55 minutes at 40 watts.

The lights come with an articulating Video Light Arm with Hot Shoe Base that is compatible with all standard Hot Shoe brackets. A unique feature of the articulating Video Light Arm is the Integrated Light Bouncer that produces a soft even light which is perfect for close ups. Also included is a 4-pin XLR Adapter so that you can run the light from the camera's power. Other accessories are available including a Power Tap Adapter.
